I'm a little nervous about starting out with 5 gal., not to mention coming up with (and storing!) that many bottles! I'm going to be starting a batch as soon as I can get my hands on all the stuff.

And I'm SO gonna have to go to the Deschutes Brewery next time I'm in town and ask for the Flora. I think that was where I had a delicious Belgian that was brewed with cardamom, among other herbs.Rosie_Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08363843512357526257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6354467248016618655.post-83602135506478615742009-08-22T20:08:16.768-07:002009-08-22T20:08:16.768-07:00Here's some info on the Fraoch:

Deschutes Brewery here in Oregon has a beer called Flora that I saw on draft at their brewery restaurant here in Portland. It is brewed with wormwood, orange and lots of other herbs. The first time I tasted the first I proposed to the man who bought it for me and I was almost equally enamored with the second.Alysshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04820396354932192545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6354467248016618655.post-30345035062195280802009-08-21T16:27:27.699-07:002009-08-21T16:27:27.699-07:00Very interesting about the hops being anaphrodisia...Very interesting about the hops being anaphrodisiac.
